Pickle By The Sea on Gurney Drive bills itself as the largest pickleball facility in northern Malaysia. It has 14 PPA-sized courts and two larger grandstand courts under a big canopy, with Mapei tournament flooring, JOOLA pro nets and tournament lighting.
Courts are booked through the Sports We Play app and website. Weekdays before 5pm are cheapest, evenings and weekends cost more, and the grandstand courts carry a premium rate. The venue opens early and stays open until 2am.
Its seafront location and number of courts make it Penang's main venue for events and big group sessions.
Evening and weekend courts go fast, so book ahead where you can.
