Kai Tak Sports Park, the city's new flagship sports hub and host of the PPA Tour Asia Hong Kong Open, has a covered outdoor hard-surface court in its North Garden that can be set up as nine pickleball courts. The courts are available to the public when not used for events or group bookings.
Courts are booked through the Kai Tak Sports Park website or app, for up to four players per hour. Reported rates are HK$250 per hour off-peak and HK$300 at peak, and an equipment set (one paddle, two balls) can be hired for HK$50. Members of the free 'Kai Tak Sports Park Friends' scheme can book up to 10 days ahead.
With low hourly rates and lots of courts under cover, it is one of the best-value places in Kowloon for casual games with friends.
Evening and weekend courts go fast, so book ahead where you can.
