Dedicated pickleball clubs make up the largest group in our directory, with 62 listed across the region. Malaysia has the most, 19, many of them large indoor halls in the Klang Valley, Penang and Johor Bahru, such as Dink Arena @ USJ and 91 Pickleball Clubhouse @ Giant USJ with 18 courts each and Pickle By The Sea in Penang with 16. Vietnam has 13, mostly in Ho Chi Minh City's District 2 and Hanoi's Tay Ho, followed by Thailand with 9 and Singapore and the Philippines with 7 each.
Clubs usually charge by the court per hour, with off-peak rates ranging from around RM35 in Kuala Lumpur and S$12 in Singapore to HK$360 to HK$450 at Hong Kong Island clubs such as Stackd Pickleball and 212HK. In Bangkok, clubs such as Pick A Court, Dink A Lot and Papaya Pickleball Club are air-conditioned and run open play, while Cebu clubs such as HQ Pickleball Cebu work mainly on per-person open play from ₱240.
Most clubs have indoor courts, around half offer coaching, and many hire out paddles, so you can turn up without kit. Clubs are usually the best place to find open play and social sessions, though schedules vary. Off-peak weekday daytime rates are the cheapest, and evening and weekend courts are the first to sell out, so book ahead through each club's app or website.
